SPECIFICATION                               

Calibres:              Flanged, belted or rimless designs from 7mm to .700.  

Action: Back-action and bolstered, hand-detachable sidelock design. Two triggers - the front hinged, extended top strap, with a manual or automatic safety.       

Barrels:                22" to 26" (56cm to 66cm) chopper-lump, with traditional sling loop, wide-V rearsight with one folding leaf, combined moon-protector foresight, regulated to stipulated distance and client specified ammunition and bullet weight.               

Stock:   Selected walnut, polished and oiled finished to the individual’s measurements, with pistol grip and a cap box for spare foresight, cheekpiece, recoil pad, an optional gold oval engraved with initials or crest.   

Engraving:          Traditional ’Royal’ scroll engraving pattern; colour-hardened or bright finish, the rifle’s serial number engraved or inlaid in gold.          

Rifle weights:    Weights depend upon the bore and the specification but the following may be helpful as a guide:      

.300 H&H             from 8lb 10oz (3.90kg) 

.375 H&H             from 9lb 6oz (4.30kg)    

.500/.465 H&H  from 10lb 2oz (4.60kg) 

.500/3" N.E.       from 10lb 13oz (4.90kg)               

.577       from 13lb 6oz (6.07kg)
