TOP TEN CAPE BUFFALO

 

Majestic, wise, unpredictable and quite possibly the most dangerous of the African Big Five. The southern Cape buffalo is a highly sought after trophy and is regularly at the top of a hunter’s bucket list. Here are the biggest and the best of the Dagga Boys in the SCI Record Book.

#1 Grady Houge MD holds the number 1 spot with this magnificent bull measuring 141″. It was taken in Busanga, Zambia in 1998.

#2 SCI Founder C.J. McElroy holds the number 2 spot with a 137 1/8″ bull taken near Mount Kenya in 1966.
